Well, as you can see from the picture, we have to say goodbye to our beloved Mazda. A crazy old lady rear ended our car on Tuesday. She hit the car so hard that it pushed it (from a full stop) at least ten feet into a truck. It looked even worse in person. Ben got the worst of it though, his neck is so sore that he can barely bend over. He went to the Urgent Care and they sent him for x-rays. He was going to go get the x-rays last night, but the wait was over 2 hours so he said he will go today. Of course the lady didn't have insurance, and the cop that came was too busy to care. Her registration was expired too, but the cop just called a tow truck and then left. That didn't really help my opinion of cops being too busy to help people in need. Anyway, we are pretty sure that the insurance will total the car. The same day our laptop blue screened. Yay. So we had to reset it to the factory settings, hopefully that will fix it.
On a happier note, last night Adria set a new sleep record for herself. She went to bed at 6:45 and slept until 3:35!!!!!! Then she didn't wake up again until 6:45! I was so happy! She usually wakes up right after Ben and I go to bed. And then she wakes up a lot from about 2:30 until 6:00. I think it's because Ben snores (he says that I do too sometimes but I can't say for sure). So last night he fell asleep on the couch watching NCIS and I decided to sleep on the other couch and see if it helped Adria sleep better. She did! So the new plan is to sleep on the couches until Adria learns to sleep through the night. For those of you who may think I am kidding, I'm not. I am so desperate now to go an entire night without waking up that I will try anything! We have moved Julia into her big girl bed this week *tear* (I can't believe she is that old!) and so as soon as Adria is sleeping through the night on a regular basis, we will move her into the crib and out of our room! Cross your fingers!
