Smart phones and smarter kids

Ben and I finally joined the technology world. We resisted the iPod, iPhone, iHome and iWhatever for the last 5 years. We never got text messaging on our cell phones either. We didn't buy a GPS (and still have the maps of the OC and Houston in our car in case I got lost there.)

But we have fallen prey to the Android.

More than that, I love it. Ben got the Droid X for work 2 months ago. After stealing it from him every night since then, I finally got an Android phone for myself last week. Since we're a little behind on technology, we've had to learn what all the buttons are for...apparently we're supposed to call them "apps" and have lots of them. Over the weekend we went to the Mesa temple to walk around and I was bummed because I forgot my camera. Ben told me that his phone was a better camera than our point and shoot. I was skeptical but it worked pretty well. See?

Can you guess who has learned these phones the fastest? Yup, the girls. Julia can pull up any game she wants or call people she wants to talk to. (See, these phones are smart and so they pull pictures from facebook and put it with the phone numbers so she knows who she is calling.) In fact, when I pulled off the pictures last night from Ben's phone, I realized Julia had already taken over 200 pictures and she knew how to change the type of picture.
