Christmas time!

You know it's Christmas at the Pease house when you have the Curious George's Christmas soundtrack stuck in your head. All. Day. Long....Christmas monkey! Christmas monkey! No one's sung about Christmas monkey!...Anyway, we are so excited for Christmas. We bought our tree from the Boy Scout's tree lot this year. This is the first time we had room for a tall tree and so we took advantage and picked a 10 foot tree. I liked it at the lot, but now that it's home I LOVE it!! Julia took some convincing at first. She wanted a small tree so she could reach the top without help. Finally one of the ladies at the lot took pity on Ben and I trying to nicely talk her out of the tiny Charlie-Brown-sized tree. She told Julia that Santa couldn't leave as many gifts under a small tree so a big tree meant more presents. That's all it took and Julia was off to the tallest trees. Isn't it pretty?

The lights took forever!

I know I say this every year, but I love how the tree turned out!

And of course we kept up the tradition of the kids getting a new ornament. Julia picked a ballerina and we picked a "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornament for Kara.
